JCI Halmstad invites you to the 2010 Crayfish Conference in the weekend 13-15 August 2010. Come to Sweden to enjoy a great summer party mood, traditional Swedish food and and drinks and a great time with new and old friends.

The new program that was launched last year was a success and therefore we continue on the same path this year. That means cocktail party on Friday and home hospitality crayfish party on Saturday. For complete program, click on Program to the left.

Troed Troedson is one of Sweden’s most engaged lecturers when it comes to forecasting and understanding the future. He has also published several books on this and adjacent subjects. One of the books, Don´t Panic will be issued for free to all participants on the seminar.

We support the future leaders of Halmstad and the World

The ship "Three hearts" was built in 1946 and was used for timber transports. Now its a charter ship, cruising the surroundings of Halmstad. The cruise will start at the castle of Halmstad and take you out to the beautiful Tylösand.

NETC Training event

At this years Crayfish conference we host a North European Training Circle (NETC) on thursday and friday.

The NETC is intended to provide high quality trainings and oppor-tunities for JCI Trainer graduates and more experienced trainers. The purpose is to deliver trainings with co-training principle pairing up more experienced trainers with JCI Trainer graduates to deliver high quality trainings.

The program includes lunch on thursday and friday and three coffe breaks. In total 4X12 hours of training is possible to fill if enough trainers apply. The fee is €30

Interested trainers send your training proposals to NETC co-ordinator ITF#86 Timo Holopainen including short description of the training and length.

 

Diving
An introductory course for beginners including both theory and practical parts with at least 20 minutes of diving where you get a chance to see another dimension of Sweden and maybe even see a living crayfish or lobster. Will cost SEK 350 extra, which includes all equipment needed and personal guidance in your first underwater experience.

Golf
Play a game of adventure golf, a mix of real golf and "mini golf" Very entertaing and its possbile to have a drink or a beer while you are playing.

Dance
Learn to dance Salsa by proffesional Salsa dancers.

SPA
Enjoy the new SPA at the congress hotel, with in and outdoor salt water pool, saunas, training studio and much more, all with a beautiful sea view. Will cost extra if you are not staying at the congress hotel!
